Getting started

Use + Add rack and + Add device in the sidebar to start building your layout. Drag devices around in the Racks view, wire them up in Cables, and track a physical move in Checklist.

Drag devices to reposition. Toggle the elevation to place gear on the correct side.

Drag racks to lay out the room, click the small circle to rotate which way a rack faces. Line up blue edges to form a cold aisle, red edges for a hot aisle. Click a rack to jump to its elevation.

Length = vertical run to the top of each rack (U × 4.445 cm) + horizontal distance between racks + a fixed 0.4 m routing allowance per rack boundary + your slack %, rounded up to a common patch length. Set units and slack in Settings.
